In this video the Aztecs are celebrating the Element of fire, to show respect to the fire spirit! Fire is a very important and sacred element to them and is also the oldest of the 4 elements, in many ancient south native american tribes, including the Incas and Mayan's, and there for fire is very sacred to them. Fire symbolises Life, death and rebirth, as well as balance between light and darkness…🙂

This celebration to the fire spirit is so sacred that they will NOT perform this sacred ritual to show the world, unless they have the Elder's and the fire spirit's permission to do so.
